WWII Map of Tanauan, Batangas
Below is a World War II map of the former town and presently city of Tanauan in the Province of Batangas. This is a copy of a first-edition publication of the map created for use by the United States War and Navy Departments in 1944. It was prepared under the direction of the Chief of Engineers of the United States Army Map Service.

The map’s scale is 1:50,000 and shows roads, railroads, villages, settlements and other land properties such as woodlands; bamboo, brush-land or other low tropical growth; tropical grass; mangroves; and agricultural areas planted to rice, bananas, abaca and others.
This map was extracted from the files1 of the 25th Red Lion Division, I Corps, President Quezon’s Own Guerrillas (PQOG) which are available online at the United States National Archives.
