Documents in Support of the Triumvirate Guerrillas' Application for Recognition
[TRANSCRIPTION]
The Triumvirate Guerrillas was a purported guerrilla outfit that operated in Lemery, Taal and San Luis with its headquarters in the last town. The organization failed to gain official recognition from the United States Army and was even accused of being a fake organization. In this page1 are transcriptions of various documents submitted by this guerrilla unit to the United States Army as supporting documents to its application for official recognition.

I hereby certify that the Triumvirate Guerrillas of San Luis, Batangas were of great assistance to the Intelligence Unit in Mindoro commanded by myself.
The Triumvirate Guerrillas were able to furnish my command much information relative [to] the enemy that proved of great value to the U. S. Forces. They acted as a control station for the various Intelligence Parties going to and from Manila.
At all times during the period of August 1944 to February 1945, I found them to be ready and willing to cooperate in any way possible.

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
This is to certify that I know personally Lt. Col. Narciso Diokno of the TRIUMVIRATE GUERRILLA Battalion of Taal, Lemery, and San Luis, Batangas.
The TRIUMVIRATE GUERRILLAS had been very cooperative with our organization since the early part of 1944 until the liberation of Luzon by the American Forces.
The said unit furnished us food and transportation facilities and gave us protection during all our stops in San Luis in the course of our Manila-Mindoro missions. Its men helped us transport such valuable things as transmitters, arms, and ammunition, which we obtained from Mindoro, from San Luis to Manila.
Furthermore, the TRIUMVIRATE GUERRILLAS gave us vital information regarding enemy strength, installations, and movements in Batangas from time to time, which information had been transmitted to Lt. Comdr. George Rowe for transmission.
The services of the TRIUMVIRATE GUERRILLAS to the cause had been very commendable.
