Below is a sketched map of the Taal Land and Volcano along with the surrounding areas, extracted from the 1911 publication “The Eruption of Taal Volcano: January 31, 19111,” written by the Jesuit scientist Reverend Miguel Saderra Maso. The publication provided some details of Taal Volcano’s historic eruptions prior to 1911 as well details of the violent eruption of the volcano that same year.
